We receive a large number of requests for consultation, and clinic availability is limited. As a result I am limiting my scope of practice to:

• inflammatory diseases eg RA PsA
• Crystal diseases

All referrals are triaged: We do this to enable patients with inflammatory disease or vasculitis to be seen quickly as these are the diseases where intervention makes the biggest difference.

Owing to the current wait time for routine conditions, I am currently unable to see patients who fall outside the scope of practice listed above.
